Terry Aarnio and other employees of Oregon Iron Works. In the first commercially licensed project for generating electricity from ocean wave action, a 103-foot-long, 220-ton buoy soon to be deployed off the coast of Oregon will provide 150 kilowatts of power. The buoy, nearly completed, undergoes tests at an Oregon Iron Works facility in Vancouver Wash.
